Justin Shook

Owner, Lead Designer

Justin graduated with honors from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Directly out of school, he went to work for John Deere as lead product engineer where he eventually helped to manage a billion dollar product line. Obsessed with design and 3D printing, Justin left John Deere after 4  years to start his own product design company. Since then, Justin has successfully developed and marketed Amazon Best Sellers and he looks to continue refining this formula for success. He is a life-long learner and he's passionate about sharing his skills and experience with others. 


Kelsea Shook

 Director of Operations

Creative Manager

Kelsea graduated from Montana State University Billings with a B.S. in Public Relations. During her time as a student and professional, Kelsea worked with several university departments including MSUB's Extended Campus and Housing + Residential Life to rebrand and adapt communication plans. Kelsea has joined our team with experience in social media management, communication planning, graphic design + branding, photography, and marketing. With Kelsea's help, Shook Ideas successfully launched an Amazon Best Selling product in 2017.


Cole Edginton

Assistant Designer

Lead Shop Technician

Cole graduated with honors from Idaho State University in 2014 with a B.S. in Microbiology and a minor in Chemistry. With a passion for innovation, since 2007 Cole has aided his father Eric in designing, manufacturing, and testing indoor training equipment for freestyle snowsports. This passion evolved to performing with the Nitro Circus World Tour. Never settling for mediocrity, Cole strives to produce the highest quality product possible, ranging from projects in the shop to cooking dinner at home or presenting the best flies to trout in the Boise river. As lead shop technician and Jr. design, Cole manages the day-to-day operations, 3D printers, CNC router, 3D laser printer, and manufactures/tests prototypes.
